Where does the weather come from?

METAR, TAF, and SIGMET from the NOAA/NWS Aviation Weather Center. This is not an official preflight briefing.

How do I add favorites?

Search for an airport (ICAO or city), open it, then star it. Free plan allows 3 favorites.

Why is an airport orange?

Weather is below the personal minimums you set in Settings (ceiling, visibility, wind, or gust).

Is this a substitute for 1800wxbrief?

No. Use VFR Buddy for situational awareness only, then get an official briefing before flight.
